And here are a couple of photos of V. She is thinning out a bit. She is getting closer to walking all the time. I think she is finally getting another tooth, too. She got her first tooth right before her first birthday. One of her favorite things to do is to find a bag, or a box, or the toy chest, and take apart all its contents. That's what she is doing in the first picture. She found the diaper bag in my bedroom. The second picture is of V at her cousin's, little Gulliver's, baby blessing. She is wearing the sweater Ootsie knitted for her.

Fabulous looks from the Prince
Our little family spent 3/4 of February sick. No fun. We are all finally recovered, thank heavens and fingers crossed. We were starting to get on a good schedule again, when Day Light Savings happened. It has been very difficult to get up this week. Furthermore, I am going to run a 5K for the first time in two weeks. But, being sick and Day Light Savings have cut into my training. I hope I can pull it together in two weeks, or else I am going to have to just walk it. So sad. I mean really, I should be able to run 3 miles.
My mom came over to my house a week or so ago. The Prince is now potty trained, for the most part. He went potty when my mom was here, but wouldn't let me put his underwear back on. I didn't force the issue because my mom was around. I think he insisted he didn't want a shirt, either. Like I said, I just let it go and talked with my mom instead. Next thing we know he comes out in this lovely outfit. My mom has been laughing and laughing about it ever since.
The cowboy boots are a nice touch, don't you think?
And today, we made brownies. I gave him a beater and a bowl of the batter. I wasn't really paying attention to the Prince. When I looked over I noticed his face was covered in batter. He took one look in the mirror and said, "A beard. A ummy choc-ate beard." (A yummy chocolate beard.)
